Branding Philosophy:
Affirmation allows for cognitive modifications which directly impacts behavior. Its an internal conversation that builds the mental fortitude to live with a certain level of purpose and establishes their true self. These statements help people change the way they view themselves and their environment. It creates an increased element of faith and trust in the life process. It aids them in standing firm in their identity and knowing the power of words. It’s the manifestation of prophesy and the proclamation of destiny.
Vision
This was created movement for black boys and men. It stemmed from the belief that we have an internal power that is not always ignited. We have the power to push ourselves into purpose, to live our best life, and to reach our full potential. We can no longer wait on others to validate us, encourage us, to empower us or motivate us to be authentically who we are and want to become. We must individually change our narrative which will change the collective narrative. Through utilizing affirmations black boys and men will become come what they speak and seek. Self-actualization is the finished work. It is something we are always working toward and honestly may never fully reach for some. However, it should be the focal point of our energy and effort to be our complete, authentic, and whole self as black men. This process starts when we are babies hearing positive words, statements, prayers. Then having those same things reinforced until we learn to speak them ourselves. This is my way of us taking our power back.
